Advocacy Group to Take a Pause

Age Friendly Sisters Country (AFSC), a home-grown nonprofit having supported numerous local initiatives over its seven-year existence, announced recently it will be taking a pause. With the resignation of three long-serving Board members, this pause will ideally let new blood lead the organization in fiscally sponsoring new, as yet unidentified, community-led programs to improve livability in Sisters Country, the board stated.
